3D Artist

Position Summary

 

The 3D Artist conceptualizes and creates character/environment models and textures which meet the high aesthetic, and creative and technical standards of Acony.

Candidates need to be versatile enough to create detailed environment models and characters where required. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong all round 3d modeling and texturing skills, and have an excellent knowledge of next gen art pipelines.

 

 

 Position Responsibilities

 

- Research and conceptualizing

- Low poly modeling

- High poly modeling

- Texture creation, baking and material shader creation

- Collaborating effectively with other artists and participate in art review sessions to achieve an overall high quality of art

 

Position Requirements

 

- 3 years industry experience and a BA degree in 3D art

- Ability to translate concept and reference artwork into 3D game assets, efficiently and within game engine specifications

- Being familiar with high resolution modeling, next generation shading and texturing techniques, and a high capacity to learn new tools

- Ability to create clean, efficient models and UV setups

 

Technical Requirements

 

- Proficiency in 3ds MAX and Photoshop CS, knowledge in Maya is a plus

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to learn quickly

- Ability to rapidly adjust to changes

- Excellent time management skills

- Excellent organizational skills

 

Bonus
